Well I hope you all had a happy Easter - I went to an annual get-together with Greg's grandparents, it was nice. Every year they have crepe suzettes. The Laabs family is very big on tradition, I've noticed. Perhaps I've mentioned it before.

Anyway, it was lovely and it's nice to get together with my "other" family. :)

After we got home, the power went out. Personally I love it when the power goes out, all those little noises which we accept unconsciously are gone and suddenly it's so quiet. It lasted about an hour, and it was a nice break from technology. Apparently a large part of the grid went down because all the traffic signals were completely dead for a few miles around us.

Also I saw three rainbows.

Overall, a good day. :)
