Ahh... it's nice to wear contact lenses again. It's a very different feeling from wearing glasses, much more open feeling, less like I'm behind a pane of glass or something. Anyway I'm trying them out for the week, getting my eyes used to having contacts again and trying to remember all those techniques for taking them out and in and all that.

It will probably take other folks a lot longer to get used to me without glasses than it will for me to get used to myself. That's the main reason I did this a month before the wedding, so that people could acclimate to the new look and not get so startled on the Big Day*.
