Just caught word that SSU has grades posted now, and I am very pleased with my results. The hardest class by far was Abnormal Psychology, mostly because the teacher gave A's only for extra-credit worthy work, which I think is b.s.. Anyway, not much sticks to me anymore so I'm fine with the B+ that I worked hard to get. As a result I managed to earn/maintain Cum Laude status (I was teetering on the edge there). Anyhow, all things considered I did and achieved my absolute best this last semester, and that means a lot to me.
I'd also like to take this time to thank everyone who helped me get through college, whether or not they read this. My college friends, wherever you may be, thank you for keeping me sane and reminding me that not everyone in college is a frat-boy on steroids or a sorority girl with the IQ rivaling an empty mayo jar. Also, thanks for the help studying, and also the help procrastinating ;). To my non-college friends I would also like to extend my thanks for the emotional support, distraction, good humor, and happiness you've given me and allowed me to give back. It was instrumental to my success as not just a college student, but as a person in general. Thank you also to my teachers who put forth the extra effort to be available and open to questions, as well as providing clear and accessible information regarding classes, you really made a difference to my school experience. Thank you to my parents, whose financial contributions made the whole thing possible and for which I am eternally grateful (and intend to repay you somehow, someday). But besides that I want to thank you for your warmth, compassion, support and gentle expectations which kept me pointed towards success, even when I had trouble moving towards it at times. Though I did much of this for myself, most of it was for you. Finally I want to thank my wonderful fiance Greg, who helped me through many sleepless nights doing homework, and providing new perspectives and reality checks when I needed them the most. Thank you also for your patience and understanding, especially during finals week. You truly are my port in the storm, thank you for being there for me and sharing my joy in my accomplishments, and shouldering some of the burden of my defeats. And if I missed anyone, I assure you it is purely due to faulty memory. I thank you all.
