I had an internship interview today... I think I did pretty well (no awkward silences) and I'm hoping to hear back from her next week. She said there were two positions left to fill and she had one other person to interview. Hopefully I'll get in, because I don't have any other internships lined up.

The internship is basically a job (pays 7.50/hour) and lasts for about 6 months. Basically it's a lot of paperwork, one-on-one client counseling and needs assessment, and stuff like that. Mostly this organization deals with people who have been arrested for misdemeanors who want to avoid charges by going through the program. It sounds like interesting work and I'm really hoping I get it because it seems like a nice environment.
